While living and working in Chicago, Leigh & Brian met while out with mutual friends. About a month later, Leigh moved back to Kalamazoo - her hometown. Realizing quickly that they couldn’t be apart, Brian soon followed and relocated to Kalamazoo himself. While sitting by the lake at Brian’s parent’s house - the same spot where they first told each other they loved each other - Brian popped the question. It was very romantic and Leigh immediately said “yes”!
